Following a successful European Championships, Olympic, World and European medallist Daryll Neita (GBR) has confirmed she will be coming home to compete at the London Athletics Meet.
Neita, who won 4x100m relay bronze at both Rio and Tokyo Olympic Games, will prepare for Paris 2024 by competing in the 200m at London Stadium this June.
The sprinter has enjoyed a fast start to the season, including a 4x100m relay gold and a 200m silver at the European Championships in Rome. Her season so far has also included two Diamond League victories, one over 200m in Suzhou and one over 100m in Doha.
Neita joins fellow Londonder Dina Asher-Smith in an unmissable 200m race as part of the UK’s biggest one-day athletics event.
The London Athletics Meet – which will see the return of the world’s best athletes to the London Stadium following a record-breaking sell-out in 2023 – is the tenth meeting of the 2024 Wanda Diamond League series. Taking place six days before the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, the event will serve as the perfect prelude to Paris.
Tickets to the 2024 London Athletics Meet start from £23 for adults, £5 for juniors and are on track to sell-out in record time. Secure your place to the world’s biggest one day athletics meet at https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/35005F106C4B097B
