NOVUNA LONDON ATHLETICS MEET WELCOME SPOND TO THE SQUAD

The Novuna London Athletics Meet has today unveiled Spond as its new Official Team Management Partner and Presenting Partner of ClubConnect, strengthening the event’s commitment to supporting young athletes across the UK.

Spond, the global team management app that helps sports clubs, teams and communities organise memberships, communications and events with ease, joins an exciting portfolio of partners ahead of this summer’s Novuna London Athletics Meet.

As Presenting Partner of ClubConnect, Spond will play a key role in supporting the popular relay races that showcase some of the country’s most promising young athletes.

The ClubConnect relays bring together talented teams from London, the Home Counties and across the UK, providing a unique opportunity for athletes to compete on the same stage as some of the world’s biggest athletics stars.

Event Director, Cherry Alexander welcomed the new partnership:

“We’re delighted to welcome Spond on board and have their support for our rising stars within the ClubConnect races.

“The ClubConnect relay races feature brilliant young athletes from teams across London and the Home Counties. Thanks to this partnership we are able to increase the prize fund and shine a spotlight on these fantastic races, which will open the Novuna London Athletics Meet.

“We’re excited to collaborate with Spond and help profile team and club athletics, while creating even more opportunities for young athletes to experience competing on one of the sport’s biggest stages.”

Charlene Kemp, UK Country Manager at Spond, said:

“We’re proud to be supporting the Novuna London Athletics Meet. Grassroots clubs are the lifeblood of athletics, and this partnership lets us shine a light on the teams and young athletes working so hard behind the scenes.

“Spond exists to take the admin burden off coaches and volunteers, so they can focus on what matters, developing talent. Partnering with an event of this stature, and standing alongside these brilliant young athletes as they compete on the same stage as the sport’s biggest stars, is exactly the kind of moment we want to help create.”
